The bodice is made from 2 triangular pieces, the ties come off of the bodice and lace through eyelets on the waistband, and the skirt is bias cut, to make it flow nicely.   Most of the ladies that have been trying this apron on have been wearing it as an Empire waistline cut, in other words, right at the ribcage-below the breast and above the natural waistline.  I am still working out the different sizes.
